Tylenol (Ultracet / Acetaminophen /Tramadol)

Tylenol - analgesic, febrifuge, resolvent.

This drug inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and reduces the excitability hypothalamus heat-regulating center. It is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and contacts with plasma proteins. Tylenol is metabolized in the liver with glucuronide and paracetamol sulfate formation.

This medicine is mainly excreted with kidneys in the form of conjugation products, less than 5% is excreted in unchanged form.

Indications: Febrile syndrome on the background of infectious diseases; mild and moderate pain (headache and toothache, migraine, back pain, arthralgia, myalgiya, neuralgia, algodismenorrhea), febrile syndrome on the background of catarrhal diseases.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, kidneys and liver dysfunction, alcoholism, infancy (up to 6 years).

Side effects: agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, anemia, renal colic, aseptic pyuria, interstitial glomerulonephritis, allergic reactions in the form of skin eruptions.
